Taste
Welcome on the Paganella! Right here past, present and future melt in a unique and coloured dimension made of country traditions and history, but also arts, music and technology.
Our typical cuisine and our most renowned dishes communicate the history of the old traditions. Our local products, honey, cheeses and salami, matched with the most famous wines from the “Piana Rotaliana”, the famous Teroldego, Trento D.O.C. and the typical TRENTINO’s grappa, will lead you up to a tasty flavour meeting, “Incontri con gusto”.
The dates for the Andalo Christmas Market are Friday 3rd December - Friday 24th December 2010. Opening hours:Friday 3 December at 4pm ...(>)
Christmas cribs exposition in the village streets. Until 06.01.2011 (>)
Don’t miss the chance to taste our traditional dishes in a very typical “Osteria Tipica Trentina” or in a cosy mountain hut, and learn about the history of farms, cultivations and dairies. Here the traditional techniques and products meet the biological philosophy: our chefs do their best to keep the old recipes and meanwhile suggest a revisited and healthy cuisine.
The mountain herbs and the little perfumed flowers are the precious ingredients of a refined typical dish, in opposition to the strong and sharp local salami and cheese tastes. Gathering both colours and flavours of the lake and earth, we manage to offer our typical dishes with great knowledge and artistic flair: taste the delicious lake and river fishes matched with our local wines!
Try our gastronomy lab “Agriculture” and learn practically how to prepare our delightful specialities. Our cuisine is a real smells and flavours experience!
A various cultural landscape: cultivated fields, pasturing huts and farms; the old symbols of a legendary past: the old venetian sawmill Taialacqua, the medieval Castel Belfort and all the popular traditions handing down from father to son and now reliving in the Folklore Festivals, enchanting both adults and children. Our green areas are the perfect place for a geo-caching adventure!
