Located just above Andalo, immersed in a green forest clearing, and at the top station of the Valle Bianca cable car, makes this hut an ideal venue for families with children, even in pushchairs. Here they can have fun in the play park or igloo-shaped library, where entertainment is provided for all ages. The comfortable indoor spaces are decorated in the modern style. One area that Ottavio is particularly proud of is his Stube del Gallo Cedrone, a secret room fitted out with larch wood for your specially booked lunches.
Ottavio, cook and custodian, together with his daughter Sofia and other trusty helpers, will be delighted to serve you traditional Trentino cooking combined with high quality wines and beers. Ever since 1968 they have strived to constantly develop by seeking out the true essence of Trentino food and drink. One thing that makes this hut particular is an attention to the seasonality of products, making every lunch a unique experience, with different dishes each time you visit. For those who have a little time to spare we provide table service, so that lunchtime can become one of your most pleasant memories. For those in a hurry, the hut also provides self-service facilities.
In summer, Chalet Forst is the ideal place to experience the flavours of the forest in dishes based on fresh wild mushrooms collected in the early morning by Ottavio himself.
In winter, the hut can be reached from two ski runs, the Paganella 2 and Lupetto. It offers an island of refuge in the brilliant white of the snowy forest where you can relish a Trentino lunch after a ski lesson.
The hut also serves dishes for celiacs.
