Perfect for: a family day on the Paganella
The Rifugio Dosson was built in 2014 in compliance with the highest environmental protection standards. It is a modern building standing at 1450 metres and close to the middle station of the Andalo-Doss Pelà cable car.
In summer it is the ideal place to eat lunch on the terrace that surrounds the entire hut, while admiring the wonderful landscape of the Brenta Dolomites. In winter it is the ideal place for taking a break during one of the many activities available in the Paganella ski area.
It is a real paradise for families thanks to numerous workshops organized in collaboration with the MUSE museum of science, and the entertainment provided at the nearby Baby Park Dosson.
If you are in a hurry, you can choose between self service, with a vast range of first and second courses and tasty desserts, or the hut's gourmet sandwiches, named after the most famous Dolomite peaks and allowing you to enjoy all the great mountain flavours in a single bite.
For something a bit more stylish, take a seat in the Stube: our Chef Simone, supported by his assistant Chefs Antonio, Gianluca, and Nico will delight you with their modern reinterpretations of traditional Trentino recipes, bringing out the very best in ingredients originating from local farms.
When the ski lifts start running in winter, the hut also stays open late on Tuesday and Friday evenings. After a couple of descents on the Cacciatori 1 ski run, Alessia the executive Chef and her staff will welcome you into the warm shelter of the hut for a delectable and entertaining evening with your family or friends.
