CIMA CANFEDIN
The second highest peak in the Paganella
The Cima del Canfedin is 2,034 m high and is the second highest peak in Paganella, after Cima Roda (2,125 m).
From Cima Canfedin, a natural terrace between the Brenta Dolomites, you can see the Valle dell'Adige, the eastern Dolomites, the Valle dei Laghi and even Lake Garda.
So put your backpack on your shoulders ... and reach the summit!
Starting from Andalo (or from Fai della Paganella) take the ski lifts to arrive at the top of Paganella, from here take trail 605, an untarmacked road leading to Passo di S. Antonio (1,893 m).
Trail 602 will take you to Cima Canfedin: the view from here is to say the least unbeatable.
Continue towards Passo S. Giacomo (1,963 m) and Malga di Covelo: cross this beautiful basin full of meadows to reach the refreshment point Bait del Germano.
To return to Andalo take the forest road which is an hour's walk adding on the cablecar ride to Doss Pelà.
Or go to Molveno, by taking trail 602 to Passo San Giovanni (1,667 m) and from here trail 612 (2.5 hours - unsuitable for pushchairs).
An alternative itinerary from the top of Paganella: from Andalo take the cablecar to Doss Pelà and from here go along the forest road in the direction of Bait del Germano (1.5 hours - itinerary also suitable for families with pushchairs).
