Mountain hut hospitality is a family affair for Nicola and Stefania. Almost sixty years ago their grandfather built the Rifugio Croz dell’Altissimo in the Brenta Dolomites, today one of the best loved destinations for summer excursions. Since 2015 they have spent the winter on the Paganella in the Chalet Albi de Mez.
Here you can choose between traditional Trentino dishes, prepared with love and dedication by Nicola in person, or the all time classic Italian pizza. The backdrop to your lunch is an awe-inspiring view over the Brenta Dolomites.
Starting from the month of February the outside kiosk is also open for those who prefer a quick bite so that they can get the most from their ski pass, and also for anyone who want to enjoy the sunshine as the days grow longer while sipping a Hugo cocktail.
The hut is just 200 metres from the top station of the Andalo–Doss Pelà cable car and can be reached on skis or on foot. It is only open in winter.
