The ideal mountain hut for those who like to add their own personal touch to a meal
A dish you ought to try: a serving of “Malga Terlaga” that includes polenta, venison, and wild mushrooms
Our recommendation: after your meal take part in a truly Trentino tradition by savouring the strong and decisive flavour of a grappa aromatized with dwarf pine resin
Perfect for: those looking for a customized traditional dish
Chalet Malga Terlaga is a bar restaurant standing at 1827 metres on Paganella mountain, close to the arrival station of the Andalo–Doss Pelà cable car.
Located in an open sunny position and surrounded by ski runs, Chalet Malga Terlaga is easy to reach both in summer along a gentle uphill path, and in winter following the “Salare” ski run. Inside you will find a completely renovated environment in natural timber with its original rustic ceiling, again in wood, and two big rooms that can host up to 170 people. This makes it ideal for celebrating a memorable occasion like a birthday or graduation party amongst the mountains.
You can gaze over a wonderful panorama of the Brenta Dolomites and up the Val di Non valley while enjoying a traditional Trentino lunch and the warm sunshine inside the hut.
In summer it is Fulmine, our donkey, who welcomes the guests together with his friend Gioia, a cute and friendly nanny goat. While the youngsters are busy petting the animals, the older children learn how to make Strudel according to the recipe of Antonio, our chef, who is specialized in the Trentino and South Tyrol cooking styles.
The self-service area is particularly interesting because it gives you the opportunity to combine genuine Trentino flavours in your own personal way.
The hut is open every day until 17:00, when the ski runs close.
