The Great Brenta Traverse
A scenic itinerary in the Dolomites
A very enjoyable high altitude hike that takes you through the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. A full day immersed in wild landscapes and pristine valleys with amazing views of the Dolomite peaks, far away from the crowds.
In about one hour our shuttle takes us to Val Rendena and Madonna di Campiglio, where we catch a cable car to Rifugio Stoppani (2500 m). Our impressive route starts from here, following footpath number 301. We cross Val Flavona, the Passo della Gaiarda (2242 m) to reach Malga Spora (1851 m). The last section is in descent through the forest below the slopes of the Piz Galin mountain to Maso Pegorar and then on to Andalo. A pack lunch is required since there are no facilities until Malga Spora.
For your safety
Take your face mask with you! You will need to use it whenever maintaining social distancing is impossible (meeting points, inside mountain huts, uplift systems, greeting people, etc.).
Michele will have the job of ensuring all participants keep a safe distance, but your collaboration and attention is also important.
Any equipment or items used will be sanitized after every use.
We are a group of Mountain Leaders and Alpine Guides, all professionals specialized in leading groups over high altitude terrain.
