When you arrive you are welcomed by Sonia: the Rifugio La Montanara was built more than forty years ago by her father-in-law and today, together with her husband and children, she keeps up the family tradition.
A tradition that spotlights local products and food: Umberto and his son work every day in the kitchen to bring you the best Trentino flavours. Do not miss the opportunity to taste their roe deer venison, rabbit, or stew, while enjoying a view from the terrace that only nature can create.
The hut is open for lunch and dinner. If you would like to extend your stay in the heart of the Dolomites, you might decide to sleep overnight in one of the eight bedrooms recently renovated to ensure your maximum comfort. The next morning you will be greeted by an unforgettable dawn and wholesome breakfast.
