Lake Molveno is a concentration of blue with all the other colours surrounding it. Colours vary according to nature and the seasons, and when combined create a magic difficult to replicate anywhere else.
This is where, many of the summer and water sport activities are concentrated: the beach is considered the most beautiful in Trentino, because of the extensive, well-kept English lawn on the lakeshore.
The lake is perfect for bathing as the water temperature during the summer season ranges from 14 to 21 degrees. Bring your dog, you'll both have fun in the water, there's only a short stretch of beach near the harbour where this is forbidden.
Lake Molveno is the ideal habitat for the Salmerino Alpino (Artic Char), a precious fish that lives only in deep, fresh and clean waters, just like these!

Our special tip

You must try at least once to go all around the lake so that you don't miss breathtaking views such as the full view of Molveno lying at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites.
In this way you'll also discover small, less popular beaches.
It will take about two and a half hours on foot, walking at a regular pace, if cycling from the harbour to the other end of the lake it will take you about an hour. If you're feeling lazy then go on a motor boat and take all the time you want!
