Surfing on the snow
Descend the slopes on a board!
It's not an invitation to use transportation but an invitation to have fun: snowboarding, in addition to downhill skiing is one of the most popular winter sports in the world. Snowboarding has become the favourite activity among young people, who do freeride, freestyle, in the snow parks or on the slopes.
From December to March there are perfectly snow-clad ski runs, making the Altopiano forests ideal terrain to practise snowboarding.
A sport which began two decades ago, has in recent years become a growing phenomenon; in fact there has been a continuing increase in snow surfing enthusiasts. In the winter of 2010-2011 Paganella Ski created the Dosson Snowpark for lovers of this sport. It is accessible by the Andalo-Doss Pelà gondola lift which carries 8 people per car.
The snow park is divided into EASY and EXPERT areas. It has 15 facilities and a travelator of over 100 m.
