This year you've decided that everyone is going on holiday: your partner, your children and...Rover! Paganella offers a range of services, tourist facilities and recommended itineraries to ensure everyone has a dream holiday, including your four-legged friend.
First of all, do you know what you need to do to keep Rover safe on holiday?

Vaccinations

Vaccinating Rover means protecting your dog from harmful diseases, and keeping them, you and your family safe.
An anti-rabies jab is not mandatory for dogs and cats moving within Italian borders, however it is always advisable, and is often required by airlines or ferry companies.

Documents

Always carry the vaccination booklet and passport with you. Since 2004 passports are required for dogs, cats and ferrets travelling for non-commercial reasons. In Italy passports are issued by the ASL (Azienda Sanitaria Locale - Local Health Authority) upon request of the owner, subject to prior verification of registration at the Regional Registry. In the UK it's issued by your vet.....

The registry office

The Registry for Pets is the national register for dogs, cats and ferrets identified by microchip in Italy. It is maintained by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with regional offices.
You can register your dog, cat or ferret free of charge at the local Registry for Pets Office for the whole period of your holiday: it is a way to track online where your pet was registered and who their owner is and, in the case of dogs, it also provides information on the species, breed and sex of the animal.
The registration certificate must contain the microchip number, date of implantation and its location.

Bring your 4-legged friend to Lake Molveno

The fantastic thing about Lake Molveno's beaches are that they are among the few in Trentino where dogs are allowed. The only exception is the area between the Camping Beach and the wooden bridge located near the ice-cream parlour "Gelateria Aquilone". Along the rest of the lakeshore they can go for walks and dive into the Lake!
Have fun with your dog, who will be bursting with excitement and joy at discovering new places, but please remember that they must always be kept on a lead during walks.

you don't have to tell us beforehand (but it would be nice)

there's a bowl and dog basket, and occasionally even toys and dog treats
they have access to all the gardens and common rooms, but not the restaurant
there's a dog sitting service
your dog can stay in your room even when you're not there
we also offer dog menus, for a fee

however the Hotel must be informed before arrival
all sizes of dogs are accepted, but only if they are over 1 year old

Alle Dolomiti Boutique Lake Hotel *** (Molveno)

dogs can stay in the room with their owner
to ensure a suitable room you should inform the hotel in advance and tell them how big the dog is
all sizes of dogs are welcome
cost is € 5.00 per day
a bowl and dog biscuits are given as a welcome
dogs have access to all the common areas except the restaurant
there is no specific fenced area for them but they can stay in the garden with their owners
dogs can stay in the room without their owner

Hotel Londra *** (Molveno)

dogs are allowed in the rooms
you must inform the Hotel in advance that you are bringing your dog
there is a dog bed, poop bags and a bowl of dog treats as a welcome

Hotel Alle Rose *** (Cavedago)

dogs are allowed in the rooms
however the Hotel must be informed before arrival
all sizes of dogs are allowed
dogs under 10 kg are free while for larger dogs there is a €5.00 per day fee
dogs are not allowed in the restaurant area, but there is another smaller room where they can stay with their
owners during meal times, as long as they are well-behaved
they must be on a lead when they are in the garden, however there is also an enclosure where they can run around freely
