SPORT ACTIVITIES ON LAKE MOLVENO
Almost the seaside: the Lake is 850 m above sea level
Have you ever thought you could find "the sea" at 850 m above sea level? Go on a boat or paddle boat, do canoeing, surfing, wind surfing or swimming? Or find crystal clear water with the Brenta Dolomites as a spectacular backdrop?
Ride the waves of Lake Molveno aboard a canoe, paddle boat, e-boat or stand up paddle? Home to important international events, Molveno Lake is ideal for water lovers and for water sports.
Make sure you dive into its waters during the warmer seasons between sunbathing and a tennis match.
Do you want to enjoy complete relaxation in the middle of the lake?
Then the centro per il noleggio (the rental centre) where you can hire canoe, motor and paddle boats is for you. It is open from June to mid September from 8.00 to 19.00 and rents out row boats, 4-hp motorboats, paddle boats and e-paddle boats. You can find it at the Rio Massò delta, in a small bay where you can moor your private boat. A large pier provides easy access to the boats for lake excursions.
This is where Antonio Rossi has been going for many years to do his training sessions and to hold Summer Canoeing Camps for young people who want to learn this fascinating sport.
