MALGA VAL DEI BRENZI
Malga Val dei Brenzi's new look
Malga Val dei Brenzi is located at 1,194 m and from there you can enjoy the view of the Brenta Dolomites.
The building was recently renovated and expanded to 150 m2. The works were approved by the Commission for the Protection of the Landscape and the Municipality of Spormaggiore.
The route is not well known and is almost entirely within the forests making it an ideal snowshoeing hike.
To get to the Malga in Località Santèl and near the Church of Santa Libera, take the forest road that climbs along the slopes of Mount Fausior, just follow the signs and do not wander off this trail.
The first stretch is steep and strenuous, then the road becomes much easier until you reach Malga Val dei Brenzi.
When descending, follow the signs for trail 603 to reach Baita Campedel, continue along the forest road to return to Santèl.
If you are fit you can go on to Castel Belfort and Spormaggiore, instead of heading back to Località Santèl.
