THE OLIMPIONICA 2 SLOPE
The slope for champions
It's one of the most difficult and challenging black slopes in Trentino and definitely the most technically demanding in the whole Paganella ski area.
The Olimpionica 2 in is the central section of the entire Olimpionica slope which starts with section 3 towards the mountain and ends with the section 1 towards the valley.
It's not called the champions' slope for nothing, in fact the Norwegian National Alpine Ski Team train here.
The Olimpionica 2, is set in a pine forest which allows modern skiing and consists of 1,200 m of long breathtaking slope, with a height difference from 1,774 m to 1,467 m. It starts from Rifugio Albi de Mez and descends to Rifugio Pian Dosson.
There is a 1,000 m height difference along the whole of the Olimpionica, from Cima Paganella which is 1,100 m above Andalo to the last part (the Olimpionica 1), which has the last 360 m of height difference, and is spread over 2.3 km to allow you to "rest" and round off this unique experience.
